Charlton Peak Panorama
Okay, so maybe 10,806' Charlton Peak isn't the most intimidating summit I've visited, or the most scenic. But it is a summit, damn it, and therefore I'm including it in my ongoing summit panorama video series, in which I give you a 360° view from the top of a nice big California mountain, just as if you were standing there yourself.
Charlton Peak offers a good look at San Gorgonio Mountain, the highest summit in Southern California, plus nearby Jepson Peak. To the north you get a broad overview of the Big Bear area (though you can't see the lake), plus the high desert beyond.
To the south, of course, is the L.A. Basin and that infamous Southern California haze. And...well, that's about it. Thank goodness Trevor was wearing that yellow jacket...
