Muir's East Buttress

Whether or not you think 14,012' Mount Muir is actually a mountain, Muir's east buttress is inarguably spectacular. Guidebooks call this a Class 4 route, though climbers often report much harder going. Seen from just above Trail Camp, on the Mount Whitney Trail. Mount Muir, California.
