The Minarets

With their jagged lines and needle-like spires, the Minarets, in the Sierra Nevada's Mount Ritter system, capture the imagination. This shot, taken near the summit of Mammoth Mountain, seems to suggest a hint of a skiable line down the north face just right of the main summit. Or is that just wishful thinking?
