Whitney's East Face
First climbed by Norman Clyde, Glen Dawson, Jules Eichorn, and Robert Underhill in 1931, Whitney's East Face remains one of the Sierra's most coveted rock climbs. The route begins along the east buttress (right) then angles up and across the face, offering tremendous exposure at a relatively easy 5.7 rating. Mount Whitney, California.
